Day 267 Swords of Iron – “Iran is going to do what?”

Chaim starts out the video by declaring in faux astonishment that Iran has threatened to “obliterate” Israel. The scene shifts to historic footage of former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatening to “wipe Israel off the map” and then Chaim mentions that in the here and now, Iran is threatening to join Hezbollah in a war against Israel. He says that Hezbollah is already firing lots of rockets into Israel and his family up in Galilee hears the booms from the impacts and interceptions almost daily.

Chaim also mentions that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has declared that Israel will not be intimidated by Hezbollah’s terror tactics. He says that Israel will continue to take out strategic targets of Hezbollah, especially missile and rocket launching sites. He says that this is necessary to allow Israeli residents of the Galilee to return to their homes.

But not everyone is happy about the situation. The US Navy has deployed the USS Wasp Amphibious Assault ship to the region along with escorts in order to deter Hezbollah from escalating and also to assist with the evacuation of American citizens if a war does start.

Chaim also mentions the hypocrisy of Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister, who has no real power but who chose to speak up this week and demand that Israel abide by UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which Hezbollah has long disregarded.

But Chaim says that in this dark and dangerous time, we trust the God of Israel and we are moving forward with plans for the future of Israel. This includes the plans the Aliyah Return Center has for a new headquarters in Tiberius to help with the vitally important task of assisting all the new immigrants to Israel who will be coming soon, fleeing the rise of anti-Semitism in the nations.
