Chaim gives an update on day 7 of the Swords of Iron Operation, still preparing for a possible ground incursion into the Gaza Strip to rescue hostages and dismantle Hamas’ terrorist infrastructure. He tells of how this has reminded him of Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.”
He says that it’s time for new beginnings, and recounts a dream he had recently in which God warned him about the need to prepare to battle the evil spirit that ISIS and Hamas are both possessed by. He cites Zecheriah 9:5 which says, in full; “Ashkelon shall see it and fear; Gaza also shall be very sorrowful; And Ekron, for He dried up her expectation. The king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
He also cites several other episodes in the Tanakh which demonstrate the principle that God gives victory to His servents over the powers of darkness that are at work in the world.
He goes on to explain why he is calling for all the supporters of the ARC to pray earnestly into the situation and also to support the ARC financially so that the organization can do its part to care for internally displaced refugees and others who need assistance at this time. He also expounds on some of the regional and even geopolitical dynamics at work in the situation, thanking the US for support and expressing hope that a new front will not open up on Israel’s northern border.
He says that a line is being drawn in the sand and everyone will have to make a decision about whose side they’re on, and he urges ARC supporters to continue making a stand for freedom around the world.
The video opens with some clips from news reports about the opening hours of the war and also includes some clips of Chaim explaining his own personal situation and the way the Aliyah Return Center has dove into the effort to support soldiers. He urges anyone who can to donate to the Emergency Aid Initiative in a way that will provide a beacon of hope in an ever-darkening world.
Chaim begins this video by saying that “our hearts are in mourning” for all the Israelis who have been killed, wounded, taken hostage and displaced by the brutal and unprovoked Hamas attack last Saturday morning. We are also in mourning for those who have lost a loved one or who has a loved one in captivity in Gaza.
Citing Isaiah 49:16; See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me, Chaim urges ARC supporters to join in the campaign to literally write the names of Israeli hostages on the palm of our hands so that we can pray for them by name.
He declares that we believe God will use supernatural methods to return the hostages to their families and then he pronounces the names of some of the hostages declaring that the IDF, which he is a part of, is resolute in its determination to restore them. He thanks everyone around the world who is praying into these issues and assures us that good will triumph over evil.
