Chaim starts the video by saying that he keeps getting asked when it will be time for Israel to hit Hezbollah in Lebanon. He says there is still work to do in the Gaza Strip, and he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to be home for the upcoming Jewish High Holidays. He gives a brief description of some of those holidays.
He also remembers that it was almost a year ago, on the Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, that the war started with a Hamas massacre of Israeli civilians. He was at the Aliyah Return Center on that day, leading celebrations, when the word came in that the attack was underway and a war was beginning.
Now, a new phase in this war might be starting, as all the attention is shifting to Hezbollah since Hamas has been nearly finished off in Gaza. It could possibly mean the firing of thousands of missiles and rockets into Israel every single day, but it’s necassary to finally push Hezbollah away from the border and allow the residents of the north to return to their homes.
Chaim also believes that the best way to deal with Hezbollah is to hit them really hard in a pre-emptive strike and keep hitting them while they’re off balance. This is the best way to shorten the war and make sure it ends with an Israeli victory.
Chaim also mentions the increasingly unlikely chances for a cease-fire in Gaza, as the Hamas leadership continuously rejects every offer they get. Hezbollah is also threatening to continue attacking Israel regardless, so Israel has to go stop them and there is a great danger of a Third Lebanon War which Chaim says he hopes doesn’t turn into WWIII.
In this context, he quotes Psalms 29:11; The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.
