Chaim starts the video noting that people all over the world seem to be focused on what Israel is doing, but this should not be a surprise because Psalm 137:5-6; If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill! If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth—if I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy.
He says that Israel and Jerusalem are not just another country, but they have a special place in God’s plans and purposes for the entire universe.
Chaim also mentions some of the scary things going on in Israel’s north, with rockets falling, the Hezbollah tunnels beckoning, and so on. But he quotes Joel 2:20; “But I will remove far from you the northern army, and will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, with his face toward the eastern sea and his back toward the western sea; his stench will come up, and his foul odor will rise, because he has done monstrous things.”
He also quotes Isaiah 2:12-14; For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up— and it shall be brought low—Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan; Upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up;
Chaim says that he’s “quite tired” and ready to go home and put the war behind him, and he says that the choice of whether there will be more of this war lies with Hezbollah.
In this context, he quotes Isaiah 35:1-3; The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the excellency of our God.
Noting that Israel doesn’t want this war, he also quotes Deuteronomy 9:3; Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you.
Chaim says this war is not against the Lebanese people, but against the terrorists of Hezbollah, who must understand that there is a penalty for cursing Israel. He mentions the pager attack and how Israel is scoring many small victories but we’re looking for a big victory and he asks his viewers to continue standing with Israel in prayer.
