Day 391 Swords of Iron – “Light in a Tunnel of darkness”

Chaim starts out by saying it’s always been difficult to stand on the side of truth over lies and deceit, but it’s worth it because the truth and righteousness will always win in the end. He mentions that Hezbollah continues to try and murder Israelis by launching rockets into the Galilee, and sometimes they have some success, but it won’t make any real difference in the end, as tragic as each death is.

He also mentions the way Hamas has once again rejected a cease-fire proposal, thinking they can force Israel to agree to their maximalist demands by refusing to release hostages.

So, he says, Israel will have to keep pushing on these terrorists until they’re ready to surrender.

Next he mentions the questions people are asking him about the US elections and what he thinks will happen there, and he says he doesn’t know but more and more he thinks that the lesson we need to learn is that righteous people will act righteously. It’s not about personalities or party dogma.

He also mentions the way the wicked talk nonsense about the success of their wicked schemes, like the leadership of Iran and Hezbollah talking about how they’re going to wipe Israel out. But Chaim says that our side stands for something much more solid and realistic, and that’s why we’re able to care for our wounded and the displaced among us.

He then mentions that Hezbollah is beginning to send signals about being ready to retreat beyond the Litani River, and maybe they will. But it won’t happen quickly, and Chaim says in our modern world we want everything to happen quickly and decisively but some things take time. Chaim mentions the enormous arsenal of death and destruction that Hezbollah built up along the border with Israel, saying it won’t be removed quickly.

In this context he mentions that some countries who have been harshly critical of Israel are suffering from acute natural disasters, and he says that those who are supporting Israel need to stay the course. He sends out a personal thank you to those who have given so that the Aliyah Return Center can purchase thermal drones so that the IDF forces can operate more safely and effectively. He says they’re going to “surge through to complete victory” because of the prayers and support they’re getting.

In this context, he quotes Psalms 142:5-6; I cried out to You, O Lord: I said, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living. Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low; Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I.

He says that this war will be over soon, but there is still work to do to push through to victory and he asks his viewers to help him buy a few more thermal drones to help with the effort so that Lebanon, Gaza and even Iran can have a better future.
