Chaim starts by asking a rhetorical question about what his viewers would do if they woke up in the morning and before they’d had their coffee, rockets from Hezbollah started raining down on their country. He says the thing you’d do is what Israel is doing and that’s striking back hard. The same thing is being done in Gaza after Hamas once again fired rockets at Tel Aviv.
He then mentions a recent poll conducted in Gaza which showed that the quality of life for people living there has degraded significantly since Hamas started this war on October 7th, 2023, and this has led to over half of these people being ready to leave the territory. Chaim says that the “management” of Gaza “isn’t working so well” and that explains these poll numbers.
Chaim says that US President Trump has put a plan on the table for the people of Gaza to be evacuated to other countries while the territory is rebuilt and now Egypt is saying they’ll do their part and take in 500,000 of them while Jordan is continuing to be adamant that they won’t take in any.
But Israel is moving ahead with plans to form an agency to assist those Gazans who might want to leave.
Chaim then mentions that he was recently in the Turkish hospital in Gaza and he recognized that it had been changed from a medical facility to a terrorist facility by Hamas, and now it has been demolished so it can’t be used for that purpose anymore.
Chaim continues by saying that so far, the IDF ground incursion into Gaza has been small scale in nature, but it can be scaled up quickly and the goal is the defeat and removal of the Hamas regime from ruling over that territory.
But it’s not just in Gaza. The IDF has also had to strike strategic weapons stockpiles at former Assad regime military bases in Syria and it also having to conduct ongoing security sweeps in Judea and Samaria, particularly the city of Jenin, as Iran is also pressing Israel in those areas.
Chaim says that Iran and all its proxies are trying to demonstrate to the world that although the US has Israel’s back, they are still able to hit Israel.’
But there’s also shifts taking place in other countries, including Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and elsewhere. The whole world is in upheaval and there’s no stability anywhere. Chaim says Israel has no choice but to stand up and be strong. In this context, he quotes Numbers 33:55; But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell.
He also quotes Zephaniah 2:6-7; The seacoast shall be pastures, with shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks. The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed their flocks there; in the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will intervene for them, and return their captives.
Chaim says these verses give him comfort that all the hostages are coming home and security will be restored.
