New Immigrants

Thriving in the Land of Israel

One of our core projects at the Aliyah Return Center is to empower Jewish New Immigrants to establish roots and thrive in the Land of Israel. Once, the Jewish remnant has returned home, ARC takes an active role in helping, guiding, and providing Jewish New Immigrants with the essentials they need to thrive in the Land of Israel.

Ways We Help Them Thrive

Housing for Jewish New Immigrants

Finding housing upon immigrating to Israel is difficult, we work with each family and assist them by providing temporary housing in one of our housing complexes for their family’s needs while subsidizing cost.

Job Training

We offer comprehensive job training programs OR connect them to various job training programs for Jewish New Immigrant families, equipping them with essential skills and resources to secure meaningful employment and achieve long-term career success in Israel.

Uplan Hebrew Language Education

In collaboration with the Israeli Ministry of Education, the Mayor’s Office – Tiberias City Hall, and our international supporters, we have opened up our own ULPAN – Hebrew language school. Our school offers free Hebrew language instruction to new immigrants by providing thousands of new arrivals with the vital tool of Hebrew language proficiency, as they connect deeply with their ancient yet new homeland.

Business Integration Night Classes

Evening job training classes for new immigrants, set against the serene backdrop of the Sea of Galilee, provide essential skills and opportunities for a fresh start in Israel. These programs empower participants to build a brighter future while fostering community and connection in a breathtaking setting.

Young Olim Club

Through our “Young Olim Club,” we offer housing on Trumpeldor Street in Tiberias for young new immigrants, creating a supportive community and organizing educational trips. In partnership with Eskhol Arim, the Mayor’s Office, and the Tzemach Incubator, we run a startup incubator and accelerator that connects immigrant entrepreneurs with investors and provides essential resources for business success.

Educational Trips for New Immigrants

Our Bi-Monthly Education Bus Day Trips, in partnership with the Jewish National Fund (KKL), offer immigrants the chance to explore Israel’s history, culture, and landscapes with experienced educators. These trips provide immersive experiences, connecting participants to Israel’s heritage and natural beauty while fostering community and personal growth.

Immigrant Absorption Consultation

Our Immigrant Absorption Consultation service offers comprehensive support for new immigrants in Israel. Every quarter, we host a full-day event (9:00-17:00), where professionals provide guidance on a wide range of topics, from legal matters to integration strategies. Additionally, our dedicated hotline ensures ongoing assistance throughout your journey, offering expert advice whenever needed to help you navigate the challenges of settling in Israel.

New Immigrant Scholarship Fund

We are excited to announce our new Scholarship Fund designed to support immigrants in achieving a university degree in Israel. This initiative aims to make higher education more accessible by providing financial assistance to qualified individuals who are seeking to further their academic and professional aspirations. The fund is part of our ongoing commitment to empower immigrants, helping them integrate into Israeli society and build a successful future.

Food Security - Provision and Vouchers

The Aliyah Return Center ensures food security for new immigrants by providing food vouchers, food stamps, and food baskets to support their nutritional needs and well-being, subsidizing rising food costs for Jewish New Immigrants settling in the Land. Food provisions, ensure that those facing financial hardship receive the nourishment they need.

Rimon Distribution Warehouse

ARC’s regional distribution warehouse (Rimon) and free clothing center LiVracha (for the blessing), offer free clothing to new Israeli Immigrants. Since it first opened in 2021, this second- hand clothing shop has embodied the vision of “For the Blessing,” aligning with our vision to support returning immigrants in their new homeland with essential resources like food, clothing, and shelter.

National Service Program

In partnership with the Ministry of Aliyah, 15 young women will be completing their national service alongside our team at the Aliyah Return Center. Over the course of one year, these dedicated individuals will help new immigrants in the Galilee,  choosing this meaningful path in place of traditional army service to make a lasting impact on the community.

״I would like to thank the Aliyah Return Center for all they do for people who feel alone, people who have nowhere to go. They helped me get clothes and helped my Aunt with a place to stay, and with the complex paperwork.״

״Thank you so much for the gift card and for your kindness during these uncertain times. We were able to buy much needed groceries during Passover for our family including diapers for our baby. May Hashem continue to bless you and your organization as you assist His children to come home.״
