(Day 584) Swords of Iron – “Hostage Edan Alexander’s release after 584 days!!!”

Chaim starts by saying how happy he is that Edan Alexander, a dual US-Israeli citizen who was kidnapped into Gaza on October 7th, 2023, has been released after 584 days of captivity.

Chaim agrees with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who says that this result came about because of a combination of Israeli military pressure on Hamas and American diplomacy.

Chaim adds that he doesn’t think Israel should give up anything in return for this released hostage, or any of the other hostages who are still being held.

Chaim also speaks about the activities of the IDF in the Gaza Strip, including the clearing of a highway for movement through the southern part of the Strip.

Getting back to the subject of Edan Alexander’s release, Chaim says he shares in the excitement of his family and his hometown back in New Jersey where he grew up. They are giving President Trump a lot of credit for his release, and Chaim agrees with this.

He also compares this moment to the release of Gilad Schalit and says it’s an example of how Israel values life, and also values strategic decisions and that’s why the IDF is keeping up the pressure on Hamas.

In this context, Chaim reminds his viewers that there is a possible normalization agreement with Saudi Arabia being discussed, and preventing this was a major goal of the October 7th, 2023 attacks.

In this context, Chaim concludes the video by quoting Isaiah 41:11; “Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.”
