(Day 589) Swords of Iron –  “Antisemitism Skyrocketing!”

Chaim starts by saying he hopes his viewers had a good weekend, and says that he was able to relax at home with his family as he is on a short break from the front lines. This includes his father-in-law Dean Bye, who together with Chaim is the leader of the Aliyah Return Center, which assists Jewish people who are taking their first steps into a new life in their ancient homeland as they emigrate to Israel. Dean and Chaim are sitting next to each other in this video, and Chaim starts out by giving some current events updates.

He starts by saying that there’s some good news, as Operation Gideon’s Chariots is underway in Gaza. Also, although President Trump’s Middle East visit didn’t include Israel, the United Arab Emirates has made a public statement blaming Hamas for this war and saying they should immediately release the hostages and leave Gaza. Chaim says this is just one indication of how the Abraham Accords are on the cusp of being expanded and it will be very good for Israel, as well as America and the entire Western world.

Getting back to Israel, Chaim talks about how the IDF just demolished another large tunnel in the Gaza Strip that Hamas had been using for terrorist purposes.

But Chaim also says that the kinetic battle in Gaza, southern Lebanon and the wider Middle East region is only part of the story. He turns to Dean and asks him if he has encountered anti-Semitism in his recent travels to Canada where he was speaking on behalf of Israel at various forums.

Dean starts by telling Chaim how proud he is of him for juggling his responsibilities as a husband and father, a soldier and a ministry leader, all while maintaining a positive attitude every day in the ARC videos.

Chaim responds by quoting Exodus 14:14; The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

Dean responds by encouraging the viewers to remember this verse as they pray for Chaim and all the other IDF soldiers, that they will hold their peace as they fight on the kinetic battlefield. But he also says that he encourages people to pray for themselves as they fight on other battlefields, including the public relations battlefield. One this note, he confirms to Chaim that there certainly is a lot of anti-Semitism out there and he encournters it often in his travels to Canada and elsewhere throughout the Western world.

He added that he just returned from a solidarity conference in Ottowa where he heard from Jewish Canadians about the persecution they’re suffering, and her said that these people have asked Israel’s Evangelical friends to speak up and speak out, so they don’t feel so alone.

Chaim says that there could be as many as 1 million Jewish people making Aliyah in the next few years because this problem of anti-Semitism is getting so severe, and he makes a comparison between the Aliyah Return Center operations in Israel and the worldwide team that supports it. He says it’s like in the IDF where everyone has a different job to do but it’s all part of the same effort to move towards the same goals.

In this context, they both ask the viewers to pray for the Aliyah Return Center and to give practical support however possible.
