(Day 594) Swords of Iron – “Brainwash”

Chaim starts out by saying how devastated he is at the news that Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, two staff members at the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, were murdered by a pro-Palestinian terrorist in Washington DC on Thursday. Yaron is the son of a well-known tour guide here in Israel, and his family is part of Israel’s Believer community.

Chaim says the attacker, 30-year-old Elias Rodrigues from Chicago, is just one of many brainwashed people who have no idea what this war is all about, they just go along with what’s trending on their favorite social media platform. He also talks about various slogans which have been popular for generations in Moslem majority countries like “from the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” and “Kybar, Kybar, al-Yahud” which means something very specific in the cultural context of the Middle East, but many Western people who have no idea what these slogans mean just mindlessly repeat them and it builds an atmosphere in these countries that can and does lead to bloodshed.

Chaim calls it an “apocalyptic worldview” that jihadists have, and he sees it becoming more and more prevalent in Western countries. He warns that if it isn’t stopped now, it’ll become a flood of violence that nothing will be able to stop.

Chaim also mentions, in this same context, the large barrages of missiles that have been fired at Israel for months, and he says that he doesn’t believe a word of the rumors that there’s a growing rift between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Trump.

Chaim continues by saying that Israel is willing and ready to hit Iran’s nuclear weapons program and everyone hopes the Americans will be part of the strike but if they’re not, Israel is ready to go it alone.

Israel is also ready to severe Hamas from the population in Gaza, confiscating parts of the Strip if necessary. He also says that he’s looking forward to taking visitors to Joseph’s Tomb and other parts of Judea and Samaria when this war is over.

In this context, he concludes by quoting Isaiah 34:2;For the indignation of the Lord is against all nations, and His fury against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to the slaughter.”
