Chaim starts by pointing out that US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu both gave praise to God for the results of Operation Rising Lion. The name of the operation itself is also a reference to a Biblical passage.
Chaim goes on to talk about how miraculous it is and he mentions that at West Point, they don’t study Israeli military victories because these victories were all won in ways that are not relevant to ordinary armies because they are so miraculous.
David Ben Gurion said “In Israel, in order to be a realist one must believe in miracles.”
Also, Chaim talks about how Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, tried to say that he was victorious over Israel and gave America “a hard slap” and President Trump responded to this by calling him a liar and freezing the sanctions relief he’d planned to initiate, saying that if Iran wants sanctions relief they need to stop with the lies, deceit and gaslighting.
All of this makes people ask what’s going to happen next, and it’s leading to speculation about whether we’re entering a darker phase when things will get even more dangerous for Israel. In this context he mentions the Chinese plans to help Iran re-arm, and Chaim says that China is on the wrong side of history but much worse, they are on the wrong side of God by doing this. He says that they’ve got plenty of problems, they don’t need ot make things worse for themselves by taking sides against God’s anointed.
Speaking of which, Chaim mentions the demand by President Trump that Israel’s judiciary drop the investigations against Netanyahu, pointing out that Netanyahu is a great war time leader who took many bold and faithful steps that surely deserve some gratitude.
President Trump is also floating some ideas for a new cease-fire in Gaza that would involve a consortium of Arab countries sending forces to administer the Strip instead of Hamas.
Chaim says it’s gotten to the point where Hamas must leave, surrender, “or else” and it looks like it’s going to be ‘or else” because Hamas does not appear ready to either surrender or leave.
However, Hamas is also spreading lies about the IDF opening fire on Gazan civilians on their way to collect food at humanitarian aid distribution sites and much of the world’s media is eagerly repeating these lies, sadly including the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, which is widely viewed in Israel as an internal enemy of this country.
Chaim also talks about the plans that are being discussed to possibly expand the Abraham Accords. He mentions that there have been many plans over the years to try and move forward in some kind of long-term peace agreement, but they’ve all failed for different reasons.
But for now, there are discussions underway to see how this war in Gaza will end, and it will include a release of the remaining hostages and the exile of all active members of terrorist groups. Then there might be a “coalition for regional security” and that might include an expansion of the Abraham Accords to include Saudi Arabia, possibly Syria, and others.
Chaim says this is something he never thought was possible but it’s happening because Israel is rising and Iran has been humbled. It is no longer able to be the neighborhood bully, and even Hamas is starting to realize it. However, they’re still playing games and so Israel is not ready to enter into more negotiations with them quite yet.
However, Chaim says that all in all there has been an amazing success here and he is optimistic about the future. In this context, he concludes by quoting Psalms 76:1-3; God is known in Judah; His name is great in Israel. His tabernacle is in Salem; His dwelling place also is in Zion. There He broke the flaming arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah
