Chaim starts out by talking about a gas station/convenience store which was attacked and looted by Al Nusra Force Hamas terrorists on October 7th, 2023. The scenes from this attack, which were caught on the CC TV cameras of the store, are surreal, but Chaim says the man who led the attack was recently eliminated in Gaza.
Chaim also mentions the great friendship between Israel and the US, which just sent another shipment of D9 heavy bulldozers to the IDF, which needs them because there’s a lot of rubble that needs to be cleared in the Gaza Strip. Chaim says this rubble includes Hamas itself, which is on the verge of being completely wiped out and eliminated from the Strip and from the future of the Middle East.
This mission of clearing out terrorist infrastructure is also going on in the north, as the IDF is destroying Hezbollah positions that they’re trying to rebuild in southern Lebanon.
Speaking of Hezbollah, the current Secretary General, Naim Qassem, gave an interview recently in which he made some surprising admissions, including the fact that Hezbollah found out about the Hamas attacks of October 7th, 2023, the same way most of the rest of the world did, by watching reports about it on the news. He added that Hezbollah had made no preparations to join in a direct ground attack, and all they could do was initiate rocket and missile fire into northern Israel to try and distract the IDF from operations in Gaza.
Also, later, when the beeper attack of September 2024 happened, Hezbollah was shocked at how deeply their communications had been infiltrated and how vulnerable they were.
However, Qassem says that despite all the setbacks they’ve suffered, Hezbollah sees that it only has two options going forward: victory over Israel or “martyrdom.” Chaim notes that “building Lebanon into a productive, peaceful country” isn’t seen as an option by Hezbollah.
At the same time, Chaim notes that the Houthis in Yemen are still hijacking ships in international waters and doing all kinds of other terrorist acts, having not yet learned their lesson. Chaim says that, this being the case, he is glad President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu are meeting in Washington this week. He also mentions the Mezuzzah that Netanyahu presented to Trump, fashioned out of a piece of an Iranian missile that was fired at Israel and shot out of the sky and shaped into the form of a B-2 Spirit Strategic bomber. It contains a passage of Scripture, Psalms 60:12, Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
Chaim says this verse is a good reminder that Israel is victorious not because of their own might or power, but because it is the Lord who fights for them.
