Chaim starts out by saying that a lot is going on as we approach the Ninth of Av on the Hebrew calendar. He reminds his viewers that on the next day, a three-week fast leading up to this day begins, and he says that he’ll be praying for the war to end with the return of the hostages and Israeli triumph.
He says there’s some good signs, including an expression of support for Iran’s discontinuing its uranium enrichment program from none other than Russian President Vladimir Putin.
However, there are also some bad signs, including a plan to bring together a conference of about 20 countries for an anti-Israel hatefest. Some of these countries are the usual suspects like Cuba, South Africa, Spain, Ireland and Qatar, but there are also countries one wouldn’t ordinarily expect to be anti-Israel like Brazil. In any case, they’re coming together for this conference and will probably make some really ugly anti-Israel statements. Israel has seen this before and it’s not going to be catastrophic, but it’s part of a worrying trend that needs to be monitored.
Meanwhile, Israel has issued maps showing that it will maintain a security zone in the Gaza Strip so as not to sacrifice all the gains in terms of security that have been made since Operation Gideon’s Chariots began several months ago. At the same time, the American-based Gaza Humanitarian Foundation is continuing to successfully deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza and the UN and Hamas are continuing to lie and slander them.
On this subject, Chaim asks a rhetorical question about “is Israel committing genocide in Gaza” and he answers his own question by going back to the definition of “genocide” and demonstrating, step by step, that Israel is not committing this crime in the Gaza Strip or anywhere else.
He says that these are “blood libels” that get mindlessly thrown around by people who have an agenda that is completely divorced from the truth.
This also includes trying to create a false moral equivalence between Hamas and Israel, and then threatening to act only against Israel based on this false moral equivalence.
Chaim also says that the UN and all the “humanitarian” NGOs are very aware of the fact that Hamas uses Gazan civilians as human shields and also uses tunnels dug underneath civilian areas in order to mask their movements and weapons stocks. He says that this is known, but the UN and the NGOs deliberately choose to act as if they don’t know anything about it.
However, Chaim says that despite all this, the IDF WILL rescue the remaining hostages and emerge victorious from this war. In this context, he quotes Psalms 44:5-6; Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me.
