Chaim starts by saying that the IDF cares more about the civilians of Gaza than Hamas does.
He gives several examples of how the IDF has taken very good care of the Israeli civilians, while Hamas has flagrantly ignored the needs of the Gazan civilians, sacrificing them for their own sick, evil purposes, not giving them their fair share of the food that’s available in the Strip, not building bomb shelters for them to take cover in when the IDF retaliates (as Hamas knew they would) for the Hamas attacks, and so on.
On top of that, Hamas is using pictures of a child who is suffering from cystic fibrosis and is currently receiving treatment in Italy as the poster for a campaign of fake news about a “famine” in Gaza that they’re blaming on Israel. Much of the world’s media is falling for these lies and amplifying the false narrative.
Hamas is also trying to suppress the story about how Gazans are thanking the United States for sending the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation to help them and give them the food they need.
Meanwhile, the IDF is also preparing to launch a much more aggressive campaign against Hamas if they don’t take the very generous offer that’s being made to them to end this war in exchange for releaseing the hostages.
Next Chaim mentions the great cooperation between Israel and Azerbaijan, which might soon be expanding.
He also mentions the rich history of Jewish people in the Gaza Strip, long before the Gush Khatif communities which were uprooted in 2005. There was a Jewish presence there for hundreds of years going all the way back to the Byzantine times. But Chaim says there is a group of people in the world today who just want to burn everything down, and they’re called “jihadists.” Chaim says tha Israel needs to have a decisive victory over these people, and that’s why he continues to serve in the IDF reserves even after 661 days.
Chaim says that another way the victory will be won is by the release of the captives of Zion and the return of the exiles, not only when they’re forced out of the countries they were born and grew up in by anti-Semitism, but when they come by choice, with dignity and purpose.
In the context, he concludes by quoiting Psalms 44:5; Through You we will push down our enemies; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.
