(Day 663) Swords of Iron – “Yes? Or No?”

Chaim starts by showing his viewers what it looks like when the air raid sirens are sounding and everyone is running to bomb shelters in Tel Aviv because the Houthis in Yemen have launched a ballistic missile at Israel.

He then asks his viewers to post “yes” or “no” in the comments section if they think Israel should annex at least parts of Gaza, or maybe even the whole thing, since Hamas has refused to do what even Saudi Arabia and the Arab League have told them to do which is release the hostages and agree to end this war.

He then goes on to say that the IDF has already taken full control over several cities in the Strip, and they are also continuing to find large stocks of Hamas weaponry and capturing or demolishing it, along with the tunnels they’re found in.

At the same time, Chaim points out that Great Britain has announced the intention to recognize a Palestinian State, joining France. Several other Western countries are considering taking the same move, and they’re mostly not announcing any expectations for the Palestinians to have elections, declare a capital, or take any other steps that a state needs to take. Chaim says these countries don’t seem to have thought this through.

On the other hand, Chaim points to Israel and the United States who are “leading with strength” and he points to US Special Envoy Tom Barrack who is telling the internationally recognized government of Lebanon that if they don’t disarm Hezbollah, the US and Israel will do it for them.

Chaim says he knows it’s hard and this has taken a long time, but he says we must stand firm together and in this context he quotes Exodus 14:14; “The Lord will fight for you, you only need to be still.”
