(Day 700) Swords of Iron – “War is ending in Victory”

Chaim starts by saying it is day 700 of this war, which has been grueling and difficult, but it’s almost over, and it’s ending in victory for Israel, and he says the last steps we need to take for that victory to be complete is the elimination of the Hamas stronghold in Gaza City.

He asks his viewers to pray for that victory and in this context, he points out that we don’t often think about the Judeo-Christian connection and the geostrategic implications of it all. They don’t see that if Israel does not get total victory in this war, it will have devestating consequences in many other conflicts in many other parts of the world. Chaim says that no one sees Israel as the shield of democracy, the way US President John F. Kennedy said it is back in 1962.

With this in mind, the IDF has begun the operation to take control of Gaza City, starting with dropping leaflets urging residents to flee the city and move south towards Rafah so they will be out of harms way.

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz says that the intensity of the IDF operations will continue to increase and Israel will not accept Hamas’ demands, as they have not accepted Israel’s terms for a negotiated settlement.

Hamas has, in fact, tried to increase the pressure by releasing videos of hostages, but Chaim says the way to get the hostages back is by applying military force, not by pointless negotiations with terrorists who have no intention of keeping their side of any agreement. Chaim says that in addition to bringing this war to a succesful conclusion, it will also bring about an extension of the Abraham Accords.

On that note, he also introduces the topic of Israel’s contributions to the peace, safety and prosperity of the free world, and he reminds his viewers that Israel has a prophetic destiny to be a blessing ot all families of the earth.

There are, of course, those who are trying to attack Israel and deny her the ability to fulfill this prophetic destiny, but Chaim says that this will be futile because Israel WILL fulfill her destiny and in this context, he quotes Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”
