(Day 728) Swords of Iron – “Flotillas and Murder in Manchester”

Chaim starts by asking a rhetorical question about the anti-Israel flotillas, as in “what are they thinking” and why do they think that what they’re doing will add something positive to the situation?

Chaim plays a clip from the Israeli police spokesperson’s office where a police officer is speaking from the hold of one of the largest ships in the “Sumud Flotilla” which is completely empty of humanitarian aid. The flotilla was never about delivering aid, it was always a publicity stunt meant to draw attention to themselves and build their social media followings.

At the same time, there was a shooting attack on a synagogue in Manchester, UK. Two congregants in the synagogue were killed in the attack while three others were wounded, and the suspect was also shot dead by police. This happened on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, and once again, Chaim asks what these people were thinking.

Chaim acknowledges that the UK government has said it’s doing everything it can in the circumstances, but he wonders aloud if the UK government HAS in fact been doing everything they can to push back against the brainwashing and jihadist propaganda that contributes to these kinds of attacks.

At the same time, the Houthis in Yemen are threatening to continue firing ballistic missiles at Israel and Iran is also threatening to “level Tel Aviv” and also claiming that in the 12-Day War in June they only used 30% of their offensive capacity against Israel, but next time they won’t hold back anything.

Circling back to the situation in Gaza, Chaim says he believes that Hamas will publicly agree to the plan put forward by President Trump to end this war, but in reality, they will not move on any of their commitments.

Which brings us back to the Sumud flotilla, which Chaim says has been proven to have ties to Hamas and also is refusing to offload whatever humanitarian aid they’re trying to bring to the people of Gaza in Cyprus so it can be inspected and then sent into the Strip via the usual channels. It is obviously just a publicity stunt and everyone knows it.

Chaim also mentions that there have been hundreds of IDF soldiers killed and wounded in this war, and many more have invisible psychological wounds which they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. He says that this is the time for the free world to stand tall and not back down, as it is all teetering on the brink and could easily be lost.

He concludes by quoting, for the benefit of those on the flotilla, Jeremiah 23:19; Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury, a violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the wicked.
