(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

Israel has to agree to some things, like redeployment to lines that will allow Hamas to emerge and possibly re-group, and also release many Palestinian security prisoners, but that is a price that must be paid.

In any case, Chaim says we should all just take a moment and breathe and savor the moment, that the hostages are coming home.

There will be details and complications that need to be sorted out later, but for now, Chaim says we should take this win. He also reminds his viewers that we’re in the midst of the Feast of Tabernacles, when we’re commanded to rejoice, and Chaim says that this will make it even easier to do that, and when the hostages come home, we’ll see a moment of rejoicing as has never been seen before in Israel.
