(Day 753) Swords of Iron – “Another Hero Falls at the Hands of Terror”

Chaim starts by wishing his viewers “Happy Aliyah Day” and then explaining what it means here in Israel to celebrate the ingathering of the exiles and the reestablishment of a Jewish State in Israel after 2,000 years. He says that the Bible mentions this prophetic event 700 times, and so Believers should pay attention to it.

He then goes on to talk about how the IDF carried out intensive airstrikes to retaliate for an attack against IDF ground forces in Rafah which resulted in the death of an IDF soldier. But the Trump Administration in the United States says they believe the ceasefire will hold despite these exchanges of fire, and President Trump said Hamas will be wiped out if they keep misbehaving.

However, Hamas is violating the ceasefire in many other ways, including by looking for weapons and ammunition when they’re supposed to be looking for the remains of hostages who were murdered in captivity. They’re also staging the recovery of remains, but an IDF drone caught the whole thing on film, forcing Hamas ot admit that they had been dishonest.

At the same time, there is an increase in security tensions in Judea and Samaria and there is also a great deal of activity in Lebanon. The Lebanese National Army has reportedly run out of demolition explosives after destroying many of Hezbollah’s bunkers and tunnels and unexploded ordnance in southern Lebanon.  But Hezbollah is still trying to recover it’s ability to threaten Israel and rebuild its combat power north of the Litani River. However, Chaim says that there is a possibility that they won’t be able to recover and then there is the possibility for the Isaiah 19 peace to break out, with the highway running from Egypt to Assyria, which would pass through Israel as well as Lebanon.

The Lebanese National Army is certainly being more vigorous and aggressive than they ever have before, and they’re getting lots of assistance from the US, France, Israel, and even the UN to carry out its anti-terrorism mission. At the same time, Hezbollah is also taking hits in its narcotics trafficking business, which is one of its main sources of revenue.

In this context, Chaim quotes Isaiah 54:14-15; In righteousness you shall be established;

You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.
