(Day 775) Swords of Iron – “Dance Again”

Chaim starts by talking about the Ethiopian Jewish holiday of Sigd, which is marked by re-enactments of Moses receiving the Torah on Mount Sinai, eating special foods and other similar events. This year, Sigd also included the participation of an Ethiopian Jewish man who was held as a hostage in Gaza for most of the past two years. He was one of the last living hostages released, and he pronounced a blessing over the Sigd ceremony in Jerusalem, and it provided a bit of a national catharsis for many people.

Chaim mentions that the Aliyah Return Center sponsors events like this in the Galilee as a way of supporting immigrant communities and letting Jews around the world know that they have a home they can come to and be welcomed.

Other former hostages have also been out and about, enjoying their freedom, and it’s a sign that these nightmares can end. Speaking of which, Hamas is another nightmare which can end, despite their best efforts to regain control of the Gaza Strip and their tapdancing about what they say they agreed to and what they didn’t. THey are now claiming that their disarmament was never a condition of the ceasefire they agreed to, but that’s a blatant lie.

There is also evidence that they are working in close coordination with Hezbollah and Iran to have another go at Israel, possibly as soon as this coming summer, after they’ve had a chance to rearm, regroup, and prepare. Even some voices at the UN are now saying that Hamas has gone too far and Chaim says that although there are still some useful idiots in the West who continue to repeat their talking points, they are not going to be able to defeat Israel like they say they want to. The IDF, Border Police, Mossad and other security and intelligence agencies are on the job, keeping up the pressure on Hamas, Hezbollah and others. Beyond that, the God of Israel is also looking after the People of Israel.

As an example, Chaim talks about the extreme drought conditions in Iran that are causing the government to seriously consider evacuating the capital of Tehran, where over 10 million people live, but it’s unclear where they’ll all go.

Chaim says that this Ayatollah regime needs to consider what it’s doing by cursing Israel and the God of the Bible. In this context, he quotes Deuteronomy 32:30; How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had surrendered them?

The video concludes with a short profile of an IDF soldier who made Aliyah recently and has been assisted by the ARC.
