(Day 833) Swords of Iron – “Alternate version of reality?”
Shabbat shalom!
I want to teach you a Persian phrase being chanted right now in Iran:
به یاری خدا
“Be yāri-ye Chodā”
Meaning: “With the help of God” / “By God’s help”
This is a very common Persian (Farsi) phrase, used both in everyday speech and in moments of resolve or hope. In the current context, many Iranians are pairing it with “انقلاب” (enghelāb – revolution) to express faith that change will come with God’s help, not just human effort.
It’s a powerful phrase because it reflects a deep cultural belief that ultimate outcomes are decided by God, even amid chaos and struggle.
Isn’t that powerful? We love the Iranian people.
People may seek power—through ego, dictatorship, or terror—but in the end, God decides. And God has already spoken about the future of the Middle East, Iran, and Israel.
Here in Israel, we’re preparing. We’re distributing bomb shelters, painting them to be more welcoming, and stocking them with essentials. A U.S. carrier strike group is on its way to the Middle East and the Red Sea, expected in five to six days. Whether for deterrence or action, we don’t know—but every time tensions rise, these strike groups arrive.
Iran is extremely unstable and dangerous right now. President Trump has not yet decided on a strike; he is weighing pressure with caution. Israel’s position is readiness. We do not want to be surprised. If additional defense is needed—even preemptive action—we are prepared. Lives depend on readiness. This is not a game. This is the most serious regional escalation we’ve seen in many years.
Winning against tyranny requires strength—timing, coordination, and resolve.
Iran’s Supreme Leader claims the Iranian people have “defeated” the United States and blames America, Israel, and the Mossad for the uprising. They’ve always blamed Israel and America—even before their people rose up against tyranny. They insist they are not leading the country into war, while threatening protesters with execution and continuing mass repression. They are doubling down on evil.
The United States is reportedly engaging Hamas on demilitarization talks and even possible amnesty. We are deeply skeptical and do not trust Hamas. Washington wants to replace Hamas with a technocratic committee and an international stabilization force tasked with civilian governance and reconstruction.
Hamas has publicly agreed to hand over governance—but many believe this is an attempt to retain power through shadow control.
Iranian activists are calling on the UN to treat the IRGC like ISIS, naming it what it is: the head of the global terror octopus.
Whatever happens, I remember the Word of God.
Zechariah 9:11–12; “Because of the blood of your covenant, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit. Return to your stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.”
That is our hope.
