(Day 850) Swords of Iron – “Freedom!”
There is much happening behind the scenes. We don’t know everything, but one truth remains: good triumphs over evil. Righteousness wins, and wickedness is defeated.
Right now, Trump is reportedly in talks with Iran. He has said he hopes diplomacy will work, but if it doesn’t, serious consequences will follow. I wouldn’t trust the Iranian regime. Many are asking whether Israel and the United States will strike the IRGC to free the people of Iran—whether through a preemptive action or by targeting Iran’s leadership, which continues to threaten Israel.
The real issue discussed in Israel is this: while Saudi Arabia represents Sunni leadership, Iran—through the IRGC—leads the Shiite axis. Yet most Iranians no longer want this regime. Roughly 95% want it gone. If Iran falls—if the head of the octopus is removed—then Hamas cannot rearm, and Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and the Houthis lose their funding. It would be the biggest Middle East shakeup since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The Houthis are still issuing threats, promising to “open the gates of hell” on Israel and warning of renewed attacks from Yemen if Israel continues defending itself against Hamas. Tensions are escalating, and the ceasefire remains extremely fragile.
Meanwhile, pro-Hamas demonstrations are taking place in Western cities like Philadelphia, with chants calling for intifada. I lived through the intifada. It is evil—marked by bombings, death, and destruction. We must reject slogans like “right to resist” and “right to return” when they ignore the massacre of the Iranian people. We love the Iranian people, and the hypocrisy of the silence surrounding their suffering is staggering. Free speech does not mean tolerating incitement to terror and violence.
At the same time, a major shift is underway in Gaza. The UAE, backed by Israel and coordinated with the United States, is reportedly preparing to assume administrative control. Abu Dhabi has proposed managing Gaza, opening logistics centers, and allowing goods to enter through Israel via the Rafah crossing. This would mark the end of Hamas’s control and the beginning of something new.
These are intense days. But they are also a reminder that light overcomes darkness. As Isaiah 41:10 says: “Do not fear, for I am with you… I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
