Update (Day 908) Swords of Iron-Lion’s Roar “Passover Resilience”

Happy Passover. It’s great to be home, but these are rough times—this is not a normal Passover.

Missiles are falling. A sixty-story building was hit in Tel Aviv, and rescue teams are searching for people trapped beneath the rubble. Every minute matters. Your prayers matter. People are suffering from trauma after a direct hit. Lives are being spared by safe rooms—by bomb shelters—but the trauma remains.

A cluster warhead munition was aimed toward the highly populated Tel Aviv area, hitting Ramat Gan and Bnei Brak, injuring at least an 11-year-old girl.

Our president speaks out, calling this a dark time for Jewish people around the world. A dark time.

But like Passovers of the past, he says we must draw strength from our history—holding on to faith and looking ahead to a safe, secure future as one nation. I love our president, Isaac Herzog.

Hezbollah in Lebanon is also launching barrages. We see them exploding in the night sky. Six impact sites have been identified, though so far no one has been injured.

The evildoers are being dealt with. From Iranian sources, senior figures—including heads of the judiciary—are being eliminated.

I hold on to God’s words in Isaiah: “Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

Friends, happy Passover.

Remember: in that time, the strongest army in the world—Pharaoh’s army, which sought to enslave us forever—found itself on the wrong side of history. We believe the righteous will prevail. Some battles are harder than others, but we will win this war for freedom.

As we serve this country, there are rips torn in the uniform—some seen, some unseen. People like me have been serving over 900 consecutive days, defending Israel—Gaza, Lebanon. Our boys are in Syria.

I’ll be direct: we need new uniforms.

Sometimes reservists are overlooked. My nickname is the army is Jay—in the Yahalom elite combat engineering unit. We’ve been standing for a long time, balancing family and the front lines, burying loved ones. This has been a tough stretch.

Friends, will you help us get what we need? Nothing fancy—just the dignity to serve and finish this marathon with strength.

Let’s do this together.
