Update (Day 944) Swords of Iron ”This can go one of two ways”
Eliminating threats to the Galilee and to Israel is hard, dangerous, and exhausting work. Now, after the Radwan Force commander was eliminated in Beirut, Israel is bracing for a possible Hezbollah response. Northern Command has instructed residents of Nahariya to cancel mass events tonight and tomorrow, and communities across the north are on high alert.
Hezbollah remains a real and immediate threat. An IDF soldier was just severely injured by an explosive device in southern Lebanon, and three others were lightly wounded. They’ve been evacuated for treatment, but this is exactly why Israel must continue operating. Hezbollah cannot be allowed to remain below the Litani River or threaten the Galilee.
At the same time, Iran—the head of the octopus of terror—is reportedly closer than ever to a possible agreement with Trump. Reports suggest a one-page deal could create a 30-day negotiation window. Trump says Iran badly wants a deal and has agreed not to pursue nuclear weapons, which is the central issue.
The reported ultimatum gives Iran seven days to sign. Trump’s message is clear: sign—or else. Iran must acknowledge it will never be allowed to have nuclear weapons. That means dismantling enrichment sites in Fordow, Natanz, Isfahan, and anywhere else; banning underground nuclear activity; allowing inspections on demand; and facing penalties for violations.
The reported framework includes a 20-year freeze on uranium enrichment, transfer of enriched uranium stockpiles to the United States, reopening the Strait of Hormuz alongside the U.S., easing the blockade, and sanctions relief tied to compliance—not all at once.
But I have to ask: is this strong enough? To me, it feels dangerously close to capitulation. Maybe the U.S. is under pressure from China, Russia, or the growing drone threat. But the concern is obvious: the moment no one is watching, Iran may start enriching again and racing for the bomb.
That’s why vigilance matters. Whether it’s Iran, Hezbollah, or any other proxy, Israel must stand firm. These threats will not be allowed to endanger our people, our families, or our land.
Israel is a tiny country, but God says this light will shine to the nations. The darkness hates it, but the darkness will not prevail.
As Isaiah 42:6 says: “I have called you in righteousness… and will make you a covenant for the people and a light for the nations.”
Keep shining folks.
