Update (Day 954) Swords of Iron “Finish The Job”
I know everyone’s wondering which way this thing’s going to go. Are we going to go back to battle? Is the United States going to finish the job in Iran? Will Israel join in to help? Will our skies be filled with missiles again and fragments like those that almost hit me?
The signs are serious. U.S. Air Force cargo planes are being moved out of harm’s way, just like before the previous escalation. American Airlines has reportedly suspended nonstop New York–Tel Aviv flights until January 2027. Netanyahu and Trump also held a major phone call about renewing the campaign against Iran’s ability to build nuclear doomsday devices.
Reports say Washington is demanding that Iran transfer 400 kilograms of uranium to the United States and keep only one nuclear facility open—for civilian power only. But Tehran’s preconditions are outrageous: a full ceasefire on all fronts, lifting all sanctions, releasing frozen Iranian assets, compensation for war damages, and recognition of Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz.
That means Iran wants to control one of the world’s most important shipping lanes while still demanding concessions. No wonder this feels like a time to pray.
And that’s exactly what happened in America, as Trump gathered people on the National Mall for a national moment of prayer, marking 250 years of the United States—one nation under God.
Meanwhile, the Hezbollah ceasefire is still supposedly in place, but the drone threat is very real. Drone warfare is becoming one of the central challenges of this era, especially fiber-guided drones that are harder to jam. Our government says Israel is getting very close to defeating this threat.
In Gaza, Israel is also nearing the completion of the mission to eliminate the architects of the October 7 massacre. And regarding Iran, Netanyahu has made it clear: Israel’s eyes are open.
Trump and Netanyahu are discussing many fronts—China, Ukraine, Iran, Gaza, Lebanon, and the future of the region. These are not ordinary days. We are alive for such a time as this.
Esther understood that moment in Persia. She had to act for the sake of her people, even when the cost was great. We face a similar question now: will we do our part for our children, for freedom, and for the future?
Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons pointed at Israel, Europe, or America. It cannot happen.
Esther 9:22 speaks of the days when the Jews found rest from their enemies, and their sorrow was turned into joy. That is what we are believing for—but we must see the mission through.
May this week see strong, faithful, and decisive actions; and may we see full and complete victory.
