Update (Day 955) Swords of Iron “Don’t Play Us For Fools”
There is a clear message to Hezbollah: no matter how deeply you embed yourself in southern Lebanon—even 100 kilometers deep near Baalbek—you will not be allowed to inflict terror on Israel. We will find you, we will deal with you, and we will do it quickly.
That message was also sent at sea. Israel’s Navy and Shayetet 13 commandos intercepted the so-called Global Sumud Flotilla, around 50 vessels attempting to breach Israel’s maritime blockade under the claim of bringing aid to Gaza. But if this was truly about humanitarian aid, it could have gone through the proper channels—where hundreds of trucks already bring supplies into Gaza.
Before boarding the vessels, Israel’s Foreign Ministry warned the activists to turn back, making clear this was a provocation, not a humanitarian mission. They ignored every warning. This flotilla was not about aid; it was about breaching Israel’s sovereignty and staging a publicity stunt.
At the same time, Iran has sent a new ceasefire offer to the United States through Pakistan, reportedly committing not to produce nuclear weapons. But what about their ballistic missiles? What about their proxies? What about Hezbollah, Hamas, and the terror network they fund across the region? I wouldn’t trust them.
Hezbollah is still launching rockets and explosive drones toward our soldiers. In the past 24 hours, four IDF soldiers were wounded by an explosive device in southern Lebanon—one severely, one moderately, and two lightly. This is why the head of the octopus must be confronted. The message to terrorists everywhere must be: it’s over. You tried. You failed.
These aerial threats are dangerous, especially with the rise of fiber-optic-guided drones—technology we’re seeing used in places like Ukraine and now against Israel. But Israel is adapting, learning, and responding.
In Gaza, another Hamas operational figure, Baha Abu Daqqa, was eliminated. He had been planning and advancing attacks against Israel and posed an immediate threat. Little by little, the upper ranks of Hamas terror are being removed. It has taken time, but it is happening.
And in the middle of all this, we are approaching Shavuot—Pentecost, the Feast of Weeks. The Western Wall area is expected to be packed with worshipers, and archaeological work and infrastructure improvements are continuing there as well. What a powerful reminder: while our enemies try to destroy, Israel continues to build, pray, and strengthen its foundations.
Friends, keep standing in faith. Keep praying for Israel.
Psalm 122:6 says: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may those who love you prosper.”
