(Day 733) Swords of Iron – “Mixed Signals”

Chaim starts by saying that no matter where the IDF soldiers are, and no matter what job they have, we are standing with them as this war might be about to be over, but there is still much work to do.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.

(Day 730) Swords of Iron – “Two Years”

Chaim starts by saying that it’s been a great privilege for him to be mobilized in his IDF reserve unit, to serve with the elite Yahalom Combat Engineers for Special Missions, demolishing Hamas tunnels and doing various other specialized tasks that the regular units aren’t trained to do. He is also the CEO of the Aliyah Return Center and the Faithful Galileans, two non-profits that work to help new immigrants to Israel as well as fight the information battles.

(Day 729) Swords of Iron – “Permanent Ceasefire?!”

Chaim says that he’s glad that President Trump put pressure on Hamas and they gave a sort of “half yes” to the plan he put forward to end this war, including the return of the hostages. This gives hope that this war is almost over, but Chaim says the Israeli leadership is being very cautious, ordering the IDF to stay on high alert against the possibility that there will be any more terror attacks or other problems.

(Day 726) Swords of Iron – “Redemption Resilience and Atonement”

Chaim starts by mentioning some of the Israeli women who were kidnapped and murdered on October 7th, 2023, and he says that there are still shooting attacks happening on a regular basis in different places in Israel, which is why he still carries his weapon with him everywhere he goes, so he can put a stop to any shooting attacks which happen when he is nearby.

(Day 725) Swords of Iron – “Holding Our Breath”

Chaim starts by saying that he feels like he’s been walking a long, dangerous and lonely road for a long time to bring the hostages back home and restore security to southern Israel, and now because of the plan that President Trump has proposed and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to, he sees some light at the end of the tunnel.

(Day 724) Swords of Iron – “Netanyahu Agreed to Trumps Plan”

Chaim starts by rhetorically asking “is this for real” and he’s referring to the announcement that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to a plan put forth by US President Donald Trump whereby all the Israeli hostages would be released, the war would end, the Gaza Strip would be demilitarized by the Arab and Moslem stages who have signed off on the plan, Hamas would be disarmed, and their leaders would go into exile. Chaim says that this sounds really good, but the war is continuing at full-throttle right now, including casualties and terror attacks in Jerusalem, action in Syria and elsewhere.
