Day 191 Swords of Iron Iran Attacks Israel

Chaim starts out the video by assuring his viewers that he and the rest of the crew at the Aliyah Return Center are “still alive” after a sleepless and scary night of rocket and drone attacks from Iran, the Houthis in Yemen, Iranian-backed militias in Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon. This was a very large number of incoming weapons that Israel, with help from the US, UK and Jordan, managed to intercept and destroy before they landed in Israel.

Chaim says that despite the attack being thwarted, this is a major escalation in a war that Israel has been fighting against Iranian-backed terrorist proxies in the region for six months now.

Chaim rhetorically asks what Israel will do in response, saying that we’re all waiting to see what happens next. He also takes a moment to note that as the Iranian weapons were coming close to Israeli airspace, often being shot down in the air over Jordan just a few kilometers east of Jerusalem, there were Palestinian Moslems on the Temple Mount in the Old City clapping and celebrating the attacks.

He also notes that in Israel, all schools and most events are closed for safety reasons, while Hezbollah in Lebanon has gotten a good look at how effective Israel’s air defense system is. Only a few of the weapons launched against Israel hit anything, with most being intercepted before they even penetrated Israeli air space.

Chaim urges his viewers to be in prayer as the situation is escalating. The Iranian Naval Special Forces recently hijacked a ship in the Persian Gulf because it was partly owned by an Israeli businessman. That situation could easily spiral into a major international incident because several other countries are also involved.

Chaim quotes Zephaniah 3:17; The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Chaim declares that the Lord is going to regather the People of Israel in the Land of Israel and protect them here. He is not bringing them back to destroy them here, but to protect them. He urges his viewers to get involved by raising their voices in prayer, but also in the public square, by writing letters to their elected officials and otherwise standing up for Israel, for democracy, for the truth, for the Bible and for the God of the Bible.

The last minute of the video shows a recent video by the Israel Foreign Ministry explaining Iran’s malign behavior in the Middle East and around the world.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
