Day 215 Swords of Iron – “Tunnels in the North And South”

Chaim starts out the video by saying that a lot is going on in Israel and the wider world.

He says this includes a lot of humanitarian aid being sent into the Gaza Strip despite rockets being fired at the Kerem Shalom crossing which is one of the main crossing points. Four IDF soldiers were killed in that attack, but the Crossing was re-opened under intense diplomatic pressure from Israeli allies, led by the US.

Chaim reminds his viewers that the hostilities on the northern border haven’t stopped, with Hezbollah keeping up a steady drizzle of rockets into Israel every single day. Things there could heat up very quickly and turn into a much bigger conflict. Hezbollah weapons depots and resupply convoys from Iran are being regularly destroyed by IDF airstrikes and that will continue regardless of whether hostilities intensify or settle down.

Of course, the IDF has also entered Rafah, and Chaim speaks about the role his unit, the Ya’alom combat engineers, are playing in finding and destoying Hamas terror tunnels and also smuggling tunnels.

Chaim also mentions the protests against Israel that have gotten violent in many places and he says “it seems like the whole world really needs a psychologist right now.”

He then quotes Deuteronomy 20:4; “for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’”

He also quotes II Chronicles 20:15; And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Chaim says that victory is possible for those who don’t give up and it is often in the darkest times that God does the greatest miracles. He then says that we’re coming up to the season of “First Fruits” and he declares his belief that the work he’s taking part in right now, to destroy the evil death cult of Hamas, might be the “First Fruits” of a new season of peace for Israel as well as the Palestinians.

He then concludes the video by counting the Omer for day 15.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
