Day 290 Swords of Iron – “Walk into the water”

Chaim starts out by telling his viewers that he’s standing next to the Egyptian border, and he reminds them that Egypt is where the Jewish People’s story begins back in the Book of Genesis.

He also reminds them of the prophecy in Isaiah 19 about a highway running from Egypt through Israel to Assyria.

He has a friend named Judah in the video and together they talk about the story from the Book of Exodus when Moses was standing in front of the Red Sea and he had to lead the people of Israel through it in order to escape from the army of Pharaoh. Together, speaking in Hebrew, Chaim and Judah say it’s time to be brave and trust God, to step into the water and to believe that God will carry us through to the other side.

He adds that even today, the IDF needed to go back into Khan Yunis to confront Hamas forces who had rallied there, and he rhetorically asks his viewers to think about what they have done at times in their lives when they felt like Moses must have felt, at their wits end, standing in front of the water with a hostile enemy behind them.

He rhetorically asks what choices people will make under such stressful and uncertain circumstances. He mentions all the leadership changes around the world, in Europe and potentially in the US as a Presidential election draws near there. He mentions the assassination attempt on Donald Trump which nearly succeeded and the decision by President Biden to step aside and endorse his Vice President, Kamala Harris, to run on the Democratic ticket instead.

Chaim says this opens up all kinds of new possibilities, the world is in uncharted waters and there are many difficult days ahead. In this context, Chaim mentions the escalation in the war against the Houthis in Yemen, who are just another arms of Iran.

Chaim concludes by thanking his viewers for standing with Israel and encourages them to step out in faith.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
