Day 317 Swords of Iron – “Intense Suspense”

Chaim starts the video by asking his viewers to pray urgently for the situation in Israel as there has been an alert at the Prime Minister’s residence and there are many other threats coming from Iran and Hezbollah.

At the same time, there are negotiations over a cease-fire in Gaza that would also see a return of Israel’s remaining hostages from Hamas. But the tension in Israel is running very high, and Hezbollah has released a video showing some of the tunnels they’ve dug underneath southern Lebanon that they can use to fight the IDF and launch some of the tens of thousands of rockets and missiles they have at Israel.

But there is a God in Israel who opposes these evil forces, and Chaim asks his viewers to stand on the side of this God and these people who He has blessed and chosen to be His very own. Chaim makes an appeal for donations to the Emergency Aid Initiative of the Aliyah Return Center so that soldiers can continue to be provided with the gear they need and civilian refugees and families in financial distress can continue to receive support and assistance.

Chaim gives a description of the Emergency Aid Initiative and adds that people can come to Israel and volunteer to directly assist in this time of crisis.

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
