Day 346 Swords of Iron – “Is this a Miracle?”

Chaim starts the video by declaring that he thinks we’ve just seen a miracle, as the ballistic missile the Houthi rebels in Yemen fired at central Israel avoided several attempts to shoot it down but still did no real harm. He also mentions the second attempt to assassinate US Presidential candidate Donald Trump, which failed.

He says that miracles are happening all around us, and we all need to be alert to see what’s going on so we don’t miss the miracles when they come. He also says that the free nations of the world should learn from Israel’s experience and example, as it has had great success in fighting back against terrorism.

Chaim also mentions the momentum that’s building for Israel to push Hezbollah out of southern Lebanon, which they’re not supposed to be in anyway since UN Security Council Resolution 1701 which ended the Second Lebanon War in 2006 stipulated that no forces other than UN peacekeepers or the Lebanese National Army should be deployed south of the Litani River.

In this context Chaim quotes Genesis 12:3; I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
