Day 353 Swords of Iron – “Timeline of redemption”

Chaim begins by mentioning that he’s in Galilee and there’s lots of incoming ordnance. His own children are hearing and experiencing it, and Israel is hitting back hard at Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. But Hezbollah is not even pretending to want to try and establish a Palestinian State, they’re just terrorizing Israelis because they hate Israel and the Jewish people. They do not even have a pretense of working towards some kind of positive vision for the future.

Although Israel has had some success in softening Hezbollah up, they still have tens of thousands of trained fighting men and over 100,000 rockets, including some very big and precise weapons which pose a serious threat to Israel’s home front as well as the IDF.

It’s scary but Chaim says if you just keep your eyes focused on the Lord, He’ll see you through. It’s also important to take common sense precations such as having emergency gear and supplies ready in case they’re needed. It’s also important to be prepared mentally.

Chaim mentions that the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement are coming up soon, it’s important to repent of our sins before the Lord.

Chaim encourages his viewers to come to Israel for the upcoming Feast of Tabernacles (Succot) and otherwise stand with Israel in this time of trouble.

In this context, he quotes Ezekial 36:24-25For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

He also quotes Amos 9:11; “On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;

The video ends with an IDF message about the assassination of Ibrahim Aqil and why it was necassary.

(Day 734) Swords of Iron – The hostages are coming home!

Chaim starts by saying that he’s in Jerusalem (wearing civilian clothes) and he is so excited because the deal to release the remaining Israeli hostages held in Gaza has been signed and finalized. The hostages will be able to celebrate at least the last day or maybe two days of Succot, the Feast of Tabernacles.

(Day 731) Swords of Iron – “Where are the hostages?”

Chaim starts by talking about how he’s been mobilized in this war for two years, which is 10% of his adult life, and he’s seen and participated in many of the war’s most well-known campaigns. However, now is a special time because it is the Feast of Tabernacles and it’s time for the people of Israel to build temporary, flimsy structures to remind ourselves of the Exodus from Egypt when God watched over us and protected and provided for us despite the desperately insecure situation we were in.
