Day 373 Swords of Iron – “Falling like dominoes”

Chaim starts by talking about the Fall Feasts of the Lord, including the Day of Atonement and Succot.

He adds that he’s juggling preparations for these Feasts with serving in the IDF, as he has been moved to southern Lebanon from Gaza. He said it’s really amazing to see with his own eyes how much weapons, ammunition and equipment Hezbollah stockpiled in southern Lebanon to use in an invasion of the Galilee like what Hamas did to the Gaza border communities on October 7th, 2023.

Chaim renews his request for his viewers to pray for the soldiers, because it’s very dangerous with all the booby traps and other hazards that they have to face in Lebanon.

He says he doesn’t know how long the war in Lebanon will last, but he’s hoping there is a resolution soon. He also says that there is a question hanging over everything about when and how Israel will strike Iran in retaliation for the 180 ballistic missiles they fired at Israel on October 1st.

Iran has been the one training all the terrorist groups that are attacking Israel and the goals of any Israeli attack would include taking away their ability and/or motivation to continue funding and supporting these groups. It would also include putting a stop to their nuclear weapons program.

Getting back to the subject of Lebanon, Chaim says there is a hope that the Lebanese people will rise up and take back their country from the thugs of Hezbollah. But Iran is the main backer of Hezbollah so they are also the main threat to Israel. Chaim says he’s glad that the US is backing Israel so strongly in this battle with Iran, and in this context he mentions the US deployment of the THAAD system to defend Israel against the possibility of Iran’s launching more ballistic missile attacks.

Meanwhile, there is a steady stream of Aliyah into Israel, with France leading the way.

But Chaim says that as he’s fighting in Lebanon, he thinks of Psalms 29:5-6, The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon. He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.

He says that he believes this is a prophecy of the defeat of the thugs of Hezbollah and Iran. He adds that although the Aliyah Return Center is praying for Israel, we’re also praying for the other countries around us, to have an outpouring of His Spirit and revival.

(Day 563) Swords of Iron – “Drive Terror Out”

Chaim starts by saying he remembers the day he got the call to come to his IDF reserve unit because the war was starting and he was needed. He talks about others he knows who did the same, even though many of them were very busy and had a lot going on, they all dropped what they were doing and ran to join their units. They all thought it would be a short war like so many others before it, but this war has lasted over a year and a half and there’s no end in sight.

(Day 562) Swords of Iron – “Fell in the line of duty”

Chaim starts by saying it’s always tragic when the IDF suffers casualties, and he honors Warrant Officer G’haleb Sliman Alnasasra, 35, of Rahat, who was killed in action over the weekend. Several other soldiers were wounded in the attack, which occurred in an area that was believed to have been cleared of hostile actors, but Hamas had a tunnel that had not been demolished yet and some Hamas guys popped up out of that tunnel and fired an RPG at an IDF vehicle and then later as a rescue vehicle was headed towards the scene Hamas detonated an IED and inflicted more casualties.

(Day 561) Swords of Iron – “Name a Hero of yours”

Chaim starts the video by asking his viewers to leave a comment talking about who their heroes are. He then tells the story of one of his personal heroes, Fredreich Bonhoofer, who was a pastor in Germany who publicly stood against the Nazi regime and was also involved in the plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler in July 1944. His great legacy is that although he was a pacifist, he said that to not take action in the face of evil, and to not speak out in the face of evil, was to support evil and to become evil.
