Day 402 Swords of Iron – “De-colonialist, Re-indigenous”

Chaim starts by asking his viewers to think about what would have happened if Israel lost the 1948 War of Independence, which the Palestinians call “the Nakba” or “the catastrophe.”

The narrative that Palestinians tell themselves and others is that “the Jews” came to this country and violently ejected them, the indigenous population of the country, and established a foreign, colonial entity on the ruins of an Arab, Muslim country. If that hadn’t happened, there would be a thriving, highly functional, free country called “Palestine” here today.

But Chaim thinks that this is unlikely, that it’s far more likely that the Arab armies that attacked Israel on May 16th, 1948 and succeeded in occupying parts of the country for 19 years until the 1967 Six Day War, would have occupied the entire country if they could have and treated it like a colony of their own administration.

A senior Arab official even told British media at the time that this was the plan, for the country to be divided up among its neighbors.

There are many other historical realities, such as the fact that Islam was a force that conquered, occupied and colonized much of the Middle East and North Africa, and even Iran, in centuries past. Chaim criticizes those who are protesting against Israel because it’s a “colonialist” country while ignoring all this other history.

Chaim criticizes universities, which are supposed to be teaching young people about this history, for allowing themselves to become battlegrounds where people chant lies and use words like “apartheid” and “genocide” that have no bearing on reality.

Chaim points out that it’s a spiritual issue for many people, who want to support the destruction of Israel because Israel is tangible evidence pointing to the God of the Bible, who they are against.

Chaim urges his viewers to support Aliyah as it is the opposite of “colonization” but rather it is the “re-indigenousness” of this country, bringing its original inhabitants back.

He mentions that the Aliyah Return Center is all about supporting this de-colonization of this country and bringing back the indigenous population.

That’s why the “Indigenous Embassy” exists and Chaim warmly mentions them and their founding Biblical mandate from Zecheriah 8:7-8; “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west; I will bring them back, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people and I will be their God, in truth and righteousness.’

(Day 480) Swords of Iron – “A new Season is Here”

Chaim starts the video by acknowledging that some IDF reserve soldiers are getting tired, ready for this war to be over so they can take off their uniforms and go back to their civilian lives. He talks about some of the different environments that IDF soldiers are being deployed, from the tropical beaches of Gaza to the frozen, snow capped Golan Heights. He also acknowledges that there is not always equipment needed for these different environments, and he says that the IDF welcomes any donations of equipment that will help them get the job done safely and effectively.

Day 479 Swords of Iron – “With you through the fire”

Chaim starts by talking about what a roller coaster of emotions Israelis are on, learning small details about the hostages, hearing that some will be released soon but also learning about the conditions Hamas was able to extract in exchange for releasing them.
