Day 422 Swords of Iron – “Ambassadors”

Chaim starts the video by showing the viewers a trench, leading to a tunnel entrance, used by Hezbollah to try and attack IDF troops. He then goes on to give some commentary on the violations of the cease-fire by Hezbollah, and because it’s now the middle of winter, it’s getting cold. This makes Chaim remember the early days of this war when it was cold and he and his comrades had to be out in the field, fighting Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

He also mentions that although both Hamas and Hezbollah have been severely weakened, there are still dangerous terrorist forces building up their strength on Israel’s other borders, including in Jordan and in Judea and Samaria.

But there is an even more immediate problem in Syria, where jihadist forces linked to Al-Qaeda have launched a very successful offensive against the Assad regime, threatening to take control of the country. This would be a big problem for Israel, and Chaim wonders if Israel will have to invade Syria to set up a security zone there.

Chaim also wonders aloud why all the protesters who are so angry about what Israel is doing in Gaza and southern Lebanon have nothing to say about what’s happening right now in Syria. In sheer numbers, this conflict in Syria that raged from 2011 to 2020 killed many more people and caused much more destruction and suffering, but no one seemed to be very upset about that.

Chaim explains that the Sunni extremists in the rebel factions are fighting against Iranian-backed Shi’ite militias who support the Assad regime, which is the head of an Alawite faction that is related to Shi’ite Islam. Russia has also sent warplanes to bomb the rebel positions, but they don’t have much to spare from their war in Ukraine.

Turkey also supports the rebels and other countries, possibly even including North Korea, also have an interest in supporting the Assad regime because they want to have that strategic corridor through northern Syria so they can attack Israel. It’s a very dynamic and multi-faceted situation, and in this context, Chaim mentions the prophecy from Isaiah 17:1; The burden against Damascus. “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, and it will be a ruinous heap.

Chaim also mentions that although Syria has been a bitter enemy of Israel ever since the 1948 Independence War, it is notable that in the prophecy of Ezekial 38-39, Syria is not mentioned in the list of nations that attack Israel. So Chaim thinks there’s a chance Syria will soon become a failed state and it requires Israel to pay very close attention to what’s going on there.

The remainder of the video is a promotional montage for the Aliyah Return Center’s Ambassador Academy, which gives Christian supporters of Israel the opportunity to become ambassadors for the Jewish State wherever they are all over the world.

(Day 627) Swords of Iron – “Going Ballistic on Beersheva”

Chaim starts by lamenting the destruction in Ber Sheva that was caused by a last-minute Iranian ballistic missile strike just before the cease-fire went into effect. But, he says, he’s glad to live in a country that cares about its citizens and works hard to protect them, even if sometimes the bad guys land a blow. On that note, Chaim gives some details that are known about what happened in Ber Sheva, including the facts that the missile that struck the building was one of a wave that Iran fired and many more lives could have been lost if people had not been in their bomb shelters.

(Day 625) Swords of Iron – “Kaboom!”

Chaim starts by cheering on the announcement by US President Donald Trump that the US has joined the war against Iran’s nuclear program, defending the free world against one of its most dangerous enemies by destroying the Fordow, Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.

(Day 619) Swords of Iron – “Remember We Didn’t Start This”

Chaim starts by acknowledging that these are difficult times in Israel, with incoming ballistic missiles and drones, cruise missiles and other weapons. Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless and at least 25 have been killed, while many more have been wounded. Israelis have had to run to their bomb shelters on several occasions over the past five days, and sometimes we have to stay there for extended periods, but it’s very important for us to stay safe.
