(Day 489) Swords of Iron – “A Message From A Blackhawk Helicopter To The Haters”

Chaim starts by saying he wants to share a story with his viewers about some of the traumatic things that he is going through and which by extension the entire country of Israel is going through. He says that he was getting off a Blackhawk helicopter in Gaza recently and it reminded him of his friend who told him about loading wounded soldiers on such helicopters over the months of this war, hoping they’d get to a hospital in time to save their lives.

Chaim says that it’s got him thinking about what really matters, and he thinks about what was going on in Israel before the war started. It was a time of great division in the country, religiously, politically, culturally and in other ways.

Many rabbis in Israel began warning that “baseless hatred” of each other will lead to Israel’s being vulnerable to outside attack.

Chaim then laments that there are people in Israel trying to smear him and the Aliyah Return Center, which is exactly what Israel’s enemies want Israelis to do, turn on each other.
