Are You Making Aliyah?

(Day 494) Swords of Iron – “Hell to pay for Hamas”

Chaim starts the video by talking about how much he’s enjoying having some time away from being in the Army on the front lines of this war. He’s been spending the time getting caught up on time with his family and also looking after the affairs of the Aliyah Return Center and the Emergency Aid Initiative.

But now he’s looking at the possibility of going back to war because Hamas is threatening to upend the cease-fire agreement by not releasing the hostages they are obligated to release. He mentions the IDF’s withdrawal from the Netzarim Corridor, which he says was a bad move, but it’s something that Israel was obligated to do under the cease-fire agreement. Israel has carried out all it’s other obligations under the agreement as well, but Hamas just made up some accusations about Israel’s “violations” of the cease-fire. At the same time, Israel has to be on guard that Hezbollah and possibly others might re-initiate hostilities if the fighting in Gaza flares up again.

Chaim says it’s all in God’s hands, and it is also being negotiated here on earth through mediators who must try and sort out all the details. But Chaim says he now believes that everyone in the Western world who has eyes to see understands that Hamas is not being truthful and can’t be trusted.

The video cuts away to a clip of US President Donald Trump being interviewed about current events and he says that he’d interested in tough negotiations with Iran in order to persuade them to give up their nuclear weapons program instead of attacking them militarily to destroy the program along with much else in the country. President Trump knows and understands that appeasement is never the answer.

Chaim also talks about the ongoing issue of the hostages and how they’re being mistreated and some have even been murdered in captivity. He concludes by reminding his viewers that Gaza is part of the Promised Land, and in this context he quotes I Kings 11:36; And to his son I will give one tribe, that My servant David may always have a lamp before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for Myself, to put My name there.
