Chaim starts by talking about the ballistic missile fired by the Houthis in Yemen on Sunday morning that managed to penetrate Israel’s air defense systems and hit a field near Ben Gurion International Airport. It caused some damage and a few injuries, but the main impact is psychological and economic. The Houthis scored a propaganda victory and Israel suffered a defeat, with several airlines that usually fly in and out of this airport suspending their service.
This happened on the same day as it was announced that two soldiers from Chaim’s unit, the Yahalom Combat engineers, were killed in action while mapping a Hamas tunnel in the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
Captain Noam David and Staff Sergeant Yaly Seror were both caught by an improvised explosive device left in the tunnel by Hamas. Chaim was nearby when it went off, but he was not wounded.
He says that these are the times to really be in prayer for Israel, because this is a very difficult situation and it’s not going to end any time soon. In this context, he quotes Isaiah 54:15-17; Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. “Behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire,
Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.
The video concludes with Chaim interviewing a man who was an eyewitness to the ballistic missile attack on Sunday morning who says it is simply a miracle of God that no one was killed or even seriously wounded in this attack.
