(Day 608) Swords of Iron – “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”

Chaim starts out by talking about the endless stream of ballistic missiles that keep getting fired at Israel from the Houthis in Yemen. Chaim says this has got to stop.

Next he talks about how Hamas has rejected yet another offer from US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and they’ll pay a price for their rejectionism. He also reiterates that Israel is determined to return all the hostages, living and dead.

At the same time, Israel is wondering what the recent joint statement by the UK, France and Canada that they will soon announce “concrete steps against Israel” means.

But perhaps even more disturbing than that is that a Christian Zionist group which was planning to have an event in Dallas, Texas, was warned that there was a serious threat that the event would be violently attacked so they had to either pay enormous amounts of money to hire private security guards to secure it or cancel it.

Chaim says this is incredible that this is happening in America, much less Texas, in this season of history. He says that we can and must push back hard against this growing darkness. As an example, he cites the work of the Israeli Air Force is destroying a UAV factory in southern Beirut that Hezbollah was using to build weapons to continue attacking Israel with.

Next he talks about how the remains of two Israeli hostages who were kidnapped into Gaza on October 7th, 2023 and subsequently died in captivity were recently recovered and will be buried properly in Israel. In this context, Chaim quotes Psalms 60:11; Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
