Chaim starts out by mentioning that the remains of Yair Ya’akov, who was kidnapped into Gaza by Hamas on October 7th, 2023, have been found and will soon be returned to Israel for a proper burial.
Next he quotes Proverbs 29:2; When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice;
But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.
As an example of this phenomenon, Chaim points to US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who recently said in a media interview that the US no longer supports the creation of a Palestinian State in Judea and Samaria.
Next Chaim talks about how the anti-ICE protests that have broken out in the US are only somewhat related to ICE and immigration. Most of the chants and many of the “protesters” simply want to sew chaos and anarchy to take down Western civilization, especially the Bible.
Getting back to Israel, Chaim mentions that Qatar has proposed another idea for a ceasefire and hostage release in the Gaza Strip, but he doesn’t think it’ll go anywhere, for the same reason previous attempts at mediation haven’t gone very far.
He says nothing less than full victory over Hamas will bring this war to an end in a way that Israel can live with the outcome.
Speaking of full victory, Chaim next talks about the ongoing efforts to shut down Iran’s efforts to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah through Syrian territory. Chaim says this problem needs to get sorted out NOW because he does not want to have to send his children off to fight in Lebanon again ten years from now.
On that note, he calls on his viewers to join him and the rest of the Aliyah Return Center ministry team in a global day of prayer for Israel’s full victory in this war. The day is scheduled for 2 August, which on the Hebrew calender will be the 9th of Av, a day on which many things tragedies have befallen the Jewish people throughout the centuries. But the ARC wants to redeem this day and turn it from a day of tragedy to a day of victory.
Chaim also asks his viewers to pray for the situation in the governing coalition, whereby there is an effort being made to pass a vote to clear the way for new elections. The opposition parties are moving this bill forward and the Ultra-Orthodox parties are threatening to support it unless they get guarantees of exemptions for their young men from being drafted into the IDF.
Chaim says this is wrong for the Ultra-Orthodox to continue getting exemptions, under the current circumstances, but this probably isn’t the best time to have this discussion.
In any case, Chaim also asks his viewers to comment on the American plans to strike Iran’s nuclear program if negotiations fail. Israel says it’s ready to strike right now, but President Trump is trying to stop this because he thinks there’s still a chance for a deal.
In this context, Chaim quotes Psalms 91:7-13; A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
Chaim concludes the video by inviting his viewers to sew into a project the ARC’s Emergency Aid Initiative is running to get new uniforms for his IDF unit that will keep them safe from burns and other battlefield hazards.
