Chaim starts out by saying that at times when the world is most dark, that’s when the light shines the brightest. As an example, he points to Argentinian President Javier Gerardo Milei who visited Jerusalem this week and spoke strongly in support of the Jewish State during a visit to the Knesset.
At the same time, some of Chaim’s comrades in the Yahlom Combat Engineering unit have located the remains of another hostage who was kidnapped on October 7th, 2023, and murdered in captivity. The name of the hostage hasn’t been revealed yet, but Chaim says it’s still something to cheer about.
Meanwhile, Hamas is getting desperate, murdering its own Palestinian civilians in order to try and prevent them from getting humanitarian aid from the American company GHF. Chaim believes this is a sign that they are near the end. However, an IDF patrol recently encountered some Hamas guys in Syria, demonstrating the importance of the IDF maintaining a presence there.
Chaim also mentions the comments by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who says that Moslem countries with large areas of land can surely find some space to establish a Palestinian State.
However, Chaim says that the question everyone is asking him about is the possible Israeli attack on Iran, after the IAEA Board of Governors ruled that Iran is in breach of its obligations under previously signed Nuclear Non-Proliferation agreements and other commitments it made not to pursue nuclear weapons.
The Americans have taken many steps that indicate that they’re getting ready for a conflict with Iran, including evacuating non-essential staff from regional embassies and military bases.
Chaim says that in his opinion, the Iranian regime has have brought this on themselves by supporting terrorism and violence all over the Middle East and beyond. They are reaping what they have sewn and they should stop blaming everyone else for the results of their poor decisions.
Chaim concludes by saying that diplomacy has failed, but he’s not worried about what’ll happen next because Israel is on the right side of history and we will prevail. In this context, he quotes Hosea 11:10; “They shall walk after the Lord. He will roar like a lion. When He roars, then His sons shall come trembling from the west;
