Chaim starts by saying that these are tough times, but tough times can also be times of triumph. To prove his point, he mentions the ongoing destruction of Hamas infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, above and below ground. Patiance has also run out with UNRWA, which is doing far too many things to help Hamas and not enough to help the Palestinian people.
Meanwhile, there is an escalating crisis in Syria, where the regime of Abu Muhammed Al-Jolani is increasing its persecution of Druze tribes in Suwayda Province, compelling Israel to act to protect them. This is throwing a monkey wrench into the hopes for Syria to join the Abraham Accords, but the chances for that might never have been very high in the first place.
Next door in Lebanon, Hezbollah’s Radwan Force is trying to regroup and prepare for another round of hostilities with Israel, and the IDF is shutting that down before it can really get started. The internationally recognized government of Lebanon is also moving against Hezbollah by banning all transactions with the “shadow bank” that Hezbollah uses to move money around, buy weapons, traffic narcotics, etc.
Chaim also mentions an attempted vehicle ramming attack by a terrorist in Jericho that was stopped before it could hurt any Israelis.
He also explains that the “Wild West” in the United States ended when proper law enforcement was established in these areas, which it had been ungoverned territory before. This, he says, is what it means for Israel to annex Judea and Samaria. It means that law and order would be brought to these areas.
Next he mentions a joint fund proposed by a former IDF General where the US and Israel would invest in research and development for Quantum computing, artificial intelligence and other hi-tech areas to produce something positive and counter Chinese efforts. Chaim says that other countries in the region could also contribute to this joint fund as a way to build on the Abraham Accords. This idea tracks with the “CHIPS Act” in the United States and Chaim says that he hopes President Trump will get behind it and help it to grow.
He concludes by quoting Psalms 121:4; Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Chaim says that this is a good explanation for the accusation by some Iranian officials that Israel cheated by having supernatural help in Operation Rising Lion.
