(Day 667) Swords of Iron – “Day of Tragedies”
Chaim starts by informing his viewers that it is the Ninth of Av, the day on the Hebrew calendar when both the First and Second Temple was destroyed and when many other tragedies befell the Jewish People. He then says that right now, there is a tragedy because there are still at least 20 Israeli hostages being held in Gaza, with the remains of many more who have died in captivity and might never be recovered.
In the most recently posted videos of the hostages, they are obviously starving and in very bad shape, and it was so bad that US President Donald Trump is reported to have burst into tears and got very angry at Hamas.
But Hamas leaders are still gloating over their “victory” on October 7th, 2023 and have even said that this event is what started the chain of events which has led to several Western countries preparing to recognize a Palestinian State at the UN General Assembly meeting next month.
Israel and the US have responded to this by giving Hamas an ultimatum to either disarm and leave or the IDF will take the gloves off and go after Hamas as they never have before.
Chaim adds that in Syria, the IDF recently discovered large stocks of weapons and ammunition that Iran was trying to smuggle to Hezbollah in Lebanon. These stocks were captured and demolished and the smuggling ring was broken up. At the same time, in Gaza, many more tunnels have been found and demolished.
But for now, on Tisha B’Av, many IDF soldiers are taking a moment to pray, fast, mourn and reflect. The history of this day is full of tragedies, from the destruction of both the First and Second Temple and many more things.
Chaim asks his viewers to fast, pray, and mourn with the Jewish People on this day, and believe with him that out of tragedy will come triumph. In this context, he quotes Zecheriah 8:19; “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘The fast of the fourth month, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be joy and gladness and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.’
Chaim also thanks his viewers for sticking with him for 667 days, for sharing the videos and using them as a prayer guide and a resource. He says he still believes for full victory and not for capitulation to the terrorists and their fanatical agenda.
