(Day 675) Swords of Iron – “International Law”

Chaim starts out by mentioning that the IDF is in Gaza to sort out terrorists and restore peace to Israel, not to target journalists, but sometimes, terrorists pretend to be journalists and that was the case with Anas Al Shariff, who the IDF eliminated in an air strike this week. He did not take part in the October 7th terrorist attack on Israel, but he was there to cheer it on, and he was guilty of many other things over the years, including getting ordinary Palestinians executed by Hamas after “reporting” on their activities, which Hamas did not approve of.

Meanwhile, in Australia, there was a Neo-Nazi group that carried out a march in the city of Melbourne in broad daylight. No one even tried to stop them, and there were some weak protests from here and there, but for the most part, it was not condemned. Also, Australia has now joined the Western nations, saying they’re going to recognize a Palestinian State, rewarding terrorists by giving them something they never even asked for, but which will nonetheless make things much more difficult for Israel.

Meanwhile, Chaim says that Israel MUST have security control in Gaza, and this includes physical control of key roads and infrastructure. Chaim mentions that this is perfectly legitimate under international law, which is a phrase the enemies of Israel always use to try and discredit us. Beyond that, population transfers have happened several times in the last 100 years when conflicts ended and new national borders were drawn. Chaim says this is also perfectly legitimate and there is no reason it can’t happen again and he also thinks it’s literally the only solution to this crisis that has any real chance of being successful in the long term.

Chaim also says he has to address an accusation made against Israel by the former President of Botswana, who said that Israel is threatening to annex Gaza in order to “force Hamas to execute the hostages” so that Israel will have an excuse to commit more war crimes, etc. Chaim is flabbergasted by this absurd line of reasoning, which ignores the context of his war which began when Hamas launched a massacre of Israelis on October 7th, 2023.

This man also said that Israel “created Hamas” which is a gross distortion of the historical reality and he also said that Israel’s leaders are “wanted war criminals” which is flatly untrue.

Chaim says that the charges against Israel are always an inversion of the truth, that Israel’s enemies are the ones doing what Israel is accused of doing.

This Botswanan man also accused Israel of starving the civilian population of Gaza and not allowing journalists into the Strip, and both of these accusations are flatly untrue and there are mountains of evidence to prove they’re not true.

Chaim goes on to describe some of the conventions of International Law that Israel is accused of violating in this war, but once again, what Israel is being accused of is the exact opposite of what it is doing. Chaim adds a point about how the supposedly neutral UN and other international agencies are attacking the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation and it’s so obvious that the reason they’re doing this is because they know the GHF is serving a purpose that is bad for Hamas and they want Hamas to win.

In conclusion, Chaim quotes Psalms 44:5-7,Through You we will push down our enemies;

Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow,

nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us.
