(Day 677) Swords of Iron -“Heat Wave and Hot Topics”
Chaim starts by saying that Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is a combat veteran himself, has ruled out any more “partial deals” to end this war, saying that only a final deal that includes the release of all the remaining hostages will be acceptable.
Chaim also mentions the anti-Semitic harassment that has been suffered by El Al staff at European airports recently. Chaim says that’s it’s awful, but Israel can’t wait for someone else to deal with it, we have to deal with it ourselves. That’s why the discussions with South Sudan to accept refugees from Gaza are so important.
Another thing that is important is that there needs to be a shift in the mindset of Israel’s Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) communities so that the young men serve in the IDF like all the other Jewish men. Chaim says that he recently had a discussion with a haredi man about this, and he thinks there needs to be a lot more discussion about this topic.
He also mentions that the UN force in southern Lebanon recently did something amazing, they found a large cache of Hezbollah weapons in a tunnel and they told the IDF about it so it could all be demolished. Chaim says this is a very welcome change from the normal way of things and a good sign of things to come.
Meanwhile, it’s VERY hot in Israel and Chaim mentions some of the ways this is negatively affecting life here. He also requests that his supporters and viewers send him “Zipfizz” capsules which help water absorb into the body. He says this would be very helpful for him and his soldiers who are dealing with this extreme heat.
He aslo mentions the thwarting of a terror attack at the Khalendia checkpoint. He adds that he remembers what life was life before the checkpoints were established and there were terrorist attacks on a regular basis.
He also thanks the US for sending explosives detecting aircraft to patrol in the skies above Israel to help keep this place safe.
He also talks about his friends in Australia and New Zealand who have to watch their governments making a big mistake by rewarding terrorism by announcing their recognition of a Palestinian State. Chaim says that freedom is not free, it must be fought for and defended, and he asks his viewers to keep praying for the IDF soldiers.
But he also asks his viewers to pray for peace, and mentions that even in Iraq and Syria, terrorism is being thwarted.
Also, Chaim says that it’s not a coincidence that suddenly there is a terrible drought in Iran just after they attacked Israel.
In this context, he concludes the video by quoting Psalms 5:11; But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.
