(Day 680) Swords of Iron – “Divine Interventions?”

Chaim starts by saying that he thinks it’s important sometimes to simply stop and thank God for His protection. He mentions that the Aliyah Return Center’s headquarters were almost destroyed by an incoming Iranian missile during the 12-Day War in June. He also goes over some of the other missiles Iran fired at Israel, including some very impressive technology, and he says it’s a bit of a miracle that Israel’s defensive technology was able to stay one step ahead of the attacks.

He says that Israel started developing these defensive technologies many years ago because we could see what was coming, and he adds that this technological race hasn’t ended and Israel will need to continue producing cutting-edge gear (which our allies also benefit from) going forward. He also says he wants to thank God for giving Israeli leaders the wisdom to pursue this course.

He then talks about what’s going on in Syria, where the Druze in Suweida are hanging Israeli flags. In this context, he also mentions the ordinary Yemeni people, who must be really tired of the Houthis by now, and the ordinary Lebanese people, who are definitely tired of Hezbollah. He says that this is the beginning of the end for these terrorists. On that subject, he also speaks briefly about some of the breakthroughs in tunnel warfare that the IDF has managed to make in Gaza.

In this context, Chaim concludes by quoting Psalms 18:10; And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind
