(Day 682) Swords of Iron – “Iran -Neighborhood Bully”

Chaim starts by talking about the protests going on around Israel this week to try and convince the government to accept the terms Hamas is demanding in order to return the hostages. Chaim says he sympathizes with the goals of these protests, but he doesn’t think it’s a good idea to capitulate to Hamas. Hamas is a proxy of Iran, whose leaders are now threatening to hit all of Europe with ballistic missiles, and a bully like that must never be appeased.

Chaim also talks about how Israel is blessing the world and he cites the example of how Israel is sending food and medical aid to the people of South Sudan.

Chaim contrasts this with the way Iran, in partnership with China and Russia, is trying to be a global bully. When Israel shuts down this bullying, it helps everyone. Israel’s humbling of Iran in teh 12-Day War helpsed President Trump stabalize relations with China, broker a peace accord between Armenia and Azerbaijan and many other things. Now there is a chance for the Abraham Accords to expand and become a force for even more positive change in the world. But the key is to stay strong and not capitulate to bullies like Iran or their proxies, including Hamas.

In this context, Chaim concludes by quoting Isaiah 66:15; For behold, the Lord will come with fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
