(Day 683) Swords of Iron – “Journalistic Malpractice/Propaganda”
Chaim starts by reminding his viewers that Hamas is a terrorist organization and they are not to be trusted. With this in mind, he acknowledges that Hamas has reportedly given its approval to a deal offered by Qatar and Egypt, which would see the release of some living hostages and the bodies of some who have died in captivity. Chaim says the right response is to continue being tough on Hamas and not giving in to their terrorism or their deceptions.
Meanwhile, there is an escalating crisis between Israel and France, including rumors that Israel is considering closing the French consulate in Jerusalem. This would have been unthinkable a short time ago, but with the French threat to recognize a Palestinian State, anything is possible.
Chaim also mentions all the pictures that are being circulated by major news agencies and outlets around the world, showing pictures that they KNOW are of Palestinians with chronic medical disorders, but they present them as if their disfigured appearance is the result of Israel deliberately starving the people in Gaza by refusing to allow humanitarian aid into the Strip.
Chaim says this is evil to allow Hamas propaganda to get so much exposure and be presented as the truth when the journalists who present it know that it is an outright lie or at best ,partially true. Chaim says this is journalistic malpractice and the propaganda war is part of the war every bit as much as infantry battalions and tanks are. On that note, he asks Jewish people around the world to make Aliyah to Israel and serve in the IDF so we can finish this war, and he concludes by quoting Psalms 44:5; Through You we will push down our enemies; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.
