(Day 685) Swords of Iron – “IDF Ambushed”

Chaim starts by describing an ambush that IDF forces got hit with in Khan Yunis. A group of Hamas gunmen emerged from a tunnel shaft very close to IDF positions and managed to infiltrate one position before the IDF soldiers were aware of their presence. In the ensuing battle, several Hamas operatives were eliminated and four IDF soldiers were wounded. The belief is that this was an attempt to kidnap someone to be used as a hostage, but this time it didn’t succeed.

Next he says that Operation Gidoen’s Chariots 2 will be both a direct continuation of Gideon’s Chariots 1 and it will also be the culmination of the entire war, the last push to free the hostages and destoy Hamas.

Next, Chaim reiterates some of the material from the previous day’s video, talking about all the massive volumes of humanitarian aid being sent into the Strip. His exposes the lies and fake news about widespread starvation in Gaza that Israel causes by refusing to allow aid trucks to be sent in.

He also mentions the first Aliyah flight by Nefesh B’Nefesh since the war began, bringing over 200 new immigrants to Israel from North America.

He also shows us a piece from a video about a new water pipeline being built from Egypt into Gaza by the UAE. Hopefully, this will bring some positive changes.

Next he talks about how when a soldier is in a war, there will be wear and tear on his soul, but also on his gear, equipment and even his uniform. That’s why he’s grateful for the partners of the Aliyah Return Center who are providing funds for IDF soldiers to get better, upgraded uniforms that offer superior protection and tactical advantages to the soldiers who wear them into battle.
